Every Joint in the Room, Finished Neatly
Most properties have more sealed joints than people realise: the gaps between skirting boards and floors, worktops and walls, tiles and trims, and frames and plaster, plus the joints along coving and architraves that are sealed before a room is painted. Larger buildings also have movement joints in their tiled floors and walls.
We seal them all, choosing the right product for each joint, for homes and businesses in Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot, Sandhurst, Crowthorne and across Berkshire. Whatever the room, you get the same clean, neat and professional finish.

One sealant does not suit every joint. We choose the product for where it is going and what it has to do.
Colours are chosen to suit the surfaces, from white and clear to shades that blend with frames, tiles and worktops.

- Sanitary silicone with a fungicide, for baths, showers, basins, sinks and worktops.
- Joints that will be painted
- A paintable decorators' sealant for skirting, architraves, coving and trims, as standard silicone cannot be painted.
- Window and door frames
- A flexible sealant that bonds to the frame and the wall and moves as the frame does.
- Movement joints in floors
- A flexible sealant suited to the floor finish and the foot traffic it takes, so it can move with the joint.
Sealing Before You Decorate
A freshly painted room shows every gap. Where skirting boards meet the wall, along the edges of coving and around door frames, architraves and window boards, small gaps open up as timber shrinks and the building settles. Filled with a hard filler, they soon crack again.
A flexible, paintable decorators' sealant closes those gaps and moves with the joint, so the paint finishes against a clean, straight line. It goes on before the paint, so if you are planning to decorate, let us know and we'll seal first. We'll advise on the cure time for the product used, so you know when it is ready to paint.
A neat finish in every room
Indoors, sealing is about looks as much as keeping out water and draughts. A straight, even line along a skirting board, worktop or tiled edge finishes a room off, and we mask up where a crisp edge is needed.
Movement joints indoors
Larger tiled floors and walls, such as those in offices, shops and communal areas, are laid with movement joints: deliberate gaps that let the tiling expand, contract and move with the building without cracking. When the sealant in them fails, the joint collects dirt and water and looks untidy. We remove the old sealant, clean the joint, fit a new backing rod where needed so the sealant sits at the right depth, and apply a flexible sealant suited to the joint.
For frames, window boards and architraves, see window and door sealing.
